Job Opportunity - Cardiologist - West Virginia
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM clinic; 24/7 call coverage with 4-5 consults per day and 1-2 after-hour calls daily
Highlights:
- 6-month contract with flexible scheduling options: full-time or 2-3 weeks per month
- General cardiology practice with diverse case mix including stress testing, echocardiography, TEE, and cardioversions
- Full clinic days average 20-25 patients; half clinic days include testing supervision (4-6 tests) and 12-15 afternoon patients
- Supported by dedicated team including medical assistants and RN staff
- 122-bed hospital utilizing Cerner EMR system
- Primarily adult patient population (50+ years)
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Cardiology required
- Active state license (IMLC or temporary license accepted)
- Current DEA registration
- BLS, ACLS, and TEE certifications required
- Certified to perform and interpret nuclear medicine stress tests, exercise stress tests, EKGs, echocardiograms, and TEE
- Credentialing timeframe: 30-45 days
