Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts per week, plus one rotating Saturday per month; no call required
Highlights:
- 13-week contract with extension options at a high-volume Level 1 trauma center
- Work across multiple settings: main OR with 33 operating rooms, outpatient surgery center with 12 ORs, endoscopy center with 4 GI rooms, and 16 offsite anesthesia locations
- Collaborative environment with 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents in a 600-bed academic medical facility
- Epic EMR system; full scope of CRNA practice excluding open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks
- Patient population ranges from adolescents (age 13) through end-of-life care
- Requires weekly availability; all time off requests must be submitted upfront (requests exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer months)
Requirements:
- Active Virginia CRNA license and board certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience; academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Recent inpatient experience preferred; outpatient-only candidates may be considered
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications completed through the American Heart Association
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility location
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine documentation required
- Two professional references required with application
- Minimum 30-day credentialing timeframe
