Job Opportunity - Cardiac Electrophysiologist - Northern Arizona
Start Date: May 26, 2026
Location: Northern Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible assignment blocks throughout 2026, 7:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch. Multiple week-long blocks available from May through December. Clinic volume of 20-22 patients daily, plus 3-4 hospital consults and 4-6 EP cases per day depending on case complexity.
Highlights:
- Ongoing locum opportunity with flexible scheduling across multiple weeks throughout the year
- Focused cardiac electrophysiology practice including ablations, with emphasis on left-sided ablations and heart rhythm disturbances
- 268-bed facility utilizing Cerner EMR and Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system
- Combination of hospital consults, EP procedures, and clinic responsibilities
- Autonomous practice performing TEEs and moderate sedation independently
- 4-hour paid remote orientation with additional on-site orientation support
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Active Arizona medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Arizona DEA registration required
- ACLS certification current
- Minimum 1 year of experience with documented case logs showing 100 EP cases in the last 2 years, with emphasis on ablations
- Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system required
- Competency in performing TEEs and moderate sedation independently
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
