Job Opportunity - Emergency Medicine Provider - Ohio

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approximately 60+ days)

Location: Southern Ohio Region

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (8a-8p or 8p-8a); minimum 5 shifts per month, preferably 8-10; nights and weekends required; ongoing availability for 12+ months preferred

Highlights:

Annual ED volume of approximately 18,527 visits with 15-20 patients per shift per provider
11-bed emergency department with fast track available
17% admission rate with less than 7% transfer rate; non-trauma facility
EMR system: AllScripts/Paragon
Provider will oversee Advanced Practice Providers and write admission orders
Access to consulting specialists including Radiology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, and Hematology/Oncology

Requirements:

Board Certification: ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required
State Licensure: Active Ohio medical license required (IMLC accepted with proof of Letter of Qualification within 3 business days of job acceptance)
Certifications: Current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Medicine experience required
COVID-19 vaccination required
Clean background and Self-Query NPDB required at time of submission
