Job Opportunity - Gastroenterology Provider - Michigan
Start Date: Multiple openings available starting April 2026
Location: Northern Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 24-hour weekend call coverage (Saturday and Sunday only). No weeknight call required.
Highlights:
- Hospital-based clinic setting with comprehensive outpatient and inpatient endoscopy coverage
- Approximately 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes per day
- Collaborative team environment with 2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers, plus onsite lab and imaging services
- Cerner EMR system in use
- Flexible assignment dates available throughout April and May 2026
- Weekend call limited to Saturday and Sunday; weeknights free
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Board Eligible candidates with substantial experience may be considered)
- Active Michigan state license with current CSR at time of submission
- ACLS certification current and valid
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Clean professional background with current NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
