Job Opportunity - Gastroenterology Provider - Michigan

Start Date: Multiple openings available starting April 2026

Location: Northern Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 24-hour weekend call coverage (Saturday and Sunday only). No weeknight call required.

Highlights:

Hospital-based clinic setting with comprehensive outpatient and inpatient endoscopy coverage
Approximately 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes per day
Collaborative team environment with 2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers, plus onsite lab and imaging services
Cerner EMR system in use
Flexible assignment dates available throughout April and May 2026
Weekend call limited to Saturday and Sunday; weeknights free

Requirements:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Board Eligible candidates with substantial experience may be considered)
Active Michigan state license with current CSR at time of submission
ACLS certification current and valid
Active DEA registration
Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
COVID-19 vaccination required
Clean professional background with current NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
