Job Opportunity - Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - Arizona
Start Date: July 2026
Location: Northern Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48-hour assignment (July 12-13), 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM in-house coverage. No call requirements.
Highlights:
- Provide critical care for pediatric and PICU patients, ages 0-18 years
- Daily patient volume ranges from 7-15 patients
- Perform advanced procedures including intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and lumbar punctures
- Support pediatric trauma cases at a Level I trauma center, including neurosurgery patients
- Utilize Cerner EMR system with mandatory remote training provided prior to start
- No ECMO, CRRT, or transplant cases
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Acute Care Certification required
- Active Arizona NP license (or proof of application in process)
- DEA registration required
- PALS and BLS certifications current
- Minimum 1 year of PICU experience
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
