Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week or three 12-13 hour shifts plus one rotating Saturday per month; no call required; weekly availability expected
Highlights:
- Level 1 trauma center with 600 beds and a robust anesthesia team of 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 residents
- Diverse practice across 33 main ORs, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, and 3-4 GI center rooms
- Full scope of CRNA practice excluding open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks
- Epic EMR system in use
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
- Option to practice at multiple locations including main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy center
Requirements:
- Active Virginia CRNA license
- Board Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience; academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred
- Recent inpatient experience strongly preferred; outpatient-only candidates considered
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions available
- Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
- Minimum 30-day credentialing timeframe
