Job Opportunity - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Virginia

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week or three 12-hour shifts per week, with one rotating Saturday per month. Weekly availability required; rotating weeks on/off not preferred. Weekend availability strongly preferred. No call required.

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 600+ bed capacity serving patients aged 13 through end of life
• Large, collaborative anesthesia team including 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 residents
• Diverse practice environment covering 33 main ORs, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, 16 offsite locations, and 3-4 standalone GI procedure rooms
• Epic EMR system in use throughout the facility
• Full scope CRNA practice excluding open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks
• 13-week initial contract with opportunity for extension

Requirements:

• Active Virginia CRNA license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Board Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience; academic background and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience strongly preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required; exemptions will not be approved
• Two professional references required at time of application
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility location
• Minimum 30-day credentialing timeframe
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront and approved prior to contract acceptance; requests exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer months
