Job Opportunity - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - North Carolina
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Central North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday (flexible scheduling required, no consecutive days off), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch. Monday and Friday coverage is high priority.
Highlights:
- 6-month contract assignment (26 weeks) in a busy, multi-specialty anesthesiology department
- Medical direction model with 60+ cases per day across 20 operating rooms and 5 NORA locations
- Diverse case mix including general, orthopedic, gynecology, ENT/ophthalmology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, and trauma procedures
- EPIC EMR system with Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring equipment
- Coverage includes interventional radiology, electrophysiology, endoscopy, and MRI locations
- All age patient population with preferred skills in cardiac/vascular, neuro, and pediatrics
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina CRNA license required (out-of-state applicants will not be considered for licensure assistance)
- Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of CRNA experience; new graduates will not be considered
- Ability to float between multiple facility locations as needed
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work non-consecutive days
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
