Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with shared on-call coverage (2:1 ratio). Weekend responsibilities shared with team.
Highlights:
- Full-time leadership-track position with a high-volume cardiac electrophysiology practice and strong internal referral base
- Perform advanced procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and right- and left-sided ablations
- Collaborate with experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and multidisciplinary support team
- Teaching hospital environment with over 200 residents and 30 fellows; opportunities for medical education and mentoring
- High-acuity patient care at Level I and Level III Trauma Centers
- Cerner EMR currently in use, transitioning to Epic in late 2025 to early 2026
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of post-fellowship experience highly preferred
- Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan Medical License
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA certifications required
- Clean malpractice and licensure history
- CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start date
