Job Opportunity - Cardiac Electrophysiologist - Michigan

Start Date: Not specified

Location: Metro Detroit area, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with shared on-call coverage (2:1 ratio). Weekend responsibilities shared with team.

Highlights:

Full-time leadership-track position with a high-volume cardiac electrophysiology practice and strong internal referral base
Perform advanced procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and right- and left-sided ablations
Collaborate with experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and multidisciplinary support team
Teaching hospital environment with over 200 residents and 30 fellows; opportunities for medical education and mentoring
High-acuity patient care at Level I and Level III Trauma Centers
Cerner EMR currently in use, transitioning to Epic in late 2025 to early 2026

Requirements:

Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology
Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships
Minimum 2 to 3 years of post-fellowship experience highly preferred
Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan Medical License
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA certifications required
Clean malpractice and licensure history
CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start date
