Job Opportunity - Cardiac Electrophysiologist - Northern Arizona
Start Date: July 2026 (multiple shift blocks available through December 2026)
Location: Northern Arizona

Schedule: Week-long blocks (typically 4-5 days per week), Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch. Clinic and procedural mix with 20-22 outpatient clinic visits plus 3-4 hospital consults and 4-6 EP procedures daily depending on case complexity.
Highlights:
- Focus on cardiac electrophysiology including heart rhythm disturbances and ablations (left-sided ablations required)
- Work with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system in a 268-bed hospital setting
- Combined practice setting: hospital-based EP lab and outpatient clinic
- Must demonstrate proficiency with 100 EP cases in last 2 years with emphasis on ablations
- EMR: Cerner (4-hour remote training provided prior to start)
- Flexible block scheduling through end of 2026 with multiple available weeks
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology/Electrophysiology
- Active Arizona medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Arizona DEA registration
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Case logs demonstrating 100 EP cases in last 2 years (ablation experience required)
- Proficiency with moderate sedation independently and performing TEEs
- Experience with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system preferred
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
