Job Opportunity - Anesthesiologist - Arizona
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Daytime OR and endoscopy coverage with scheduled night call and 24-hour call shifts. Contract runs September through December 31, 2026. 4-8 patients per day across all age groups.
Highlights:
- 87-bed community hospital with comprehensive surgical and obstetric services
- Approximately 3,000 OR cases and 3,000 endoscopy cases annually, plus 500 OB deliveries per year
- Diverse case mix including geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery, advanced breast cancer surgery, total joint procedures, and all endoscopy procedures under propofol infusion
- CRNA support available for all shifts; collaborative team environment with dedicated nursing staff
- Cerner EMR system with 4-hour remote orientation prior to start
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 2 weeks
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Arizona state license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required for presentation
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Current OB anesthesia experience required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in anesthesiology
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Recent case logs and vaccination records required for credentialing
