Job Opportunity - General Cardiologist - Central Arizona

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Central Arizona - Verde Valley Region

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 1-hour unpaid lunch. Clinic-based with ongoing coverage needs across multiple assignment blocks from August 2026 through December 2026. Overtime available after scheduled shift ends.

Highlights:

• Clinic-based general cardiology practice seeing 18-24 patients per day with a patient population aged 60+
• Cath lab privileges available for provider's own patients
• Comprehensive support team including MA, PCT, Nurse, and PA assistance
• Cerner EMR system with 4 hours of remote orientation provided
• Part of a Cardiovascular Institute with established physician group support
• Multiple assignment blocks available throughout fall and winter 2026 for flexible scheduling

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Cardiology required
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• ACLS and BLS certifications current and valid
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience
• Recent case logs and consistent practice within the last 12 months required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may be considered)
