Job Opportunity - Interventional Cardiologist - Arizona

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Verde Valley, Arizona

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with possible weekend rotation. Weekly rotation between hospital and clinic settings. 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overtime available after scheduled shift.

Highlights:

  • Ongoing full-time position with a leading Cardiovascular Institute serving a primarily senior patient population (age 60+)
  • Perform 4-5 interventional procedures daily including STEMI and cardiology consults, plus 3-4 hospital consults
  • Clinic volume of 18-24 patients per day; hospital consults range from 8-14 daily
  • Conduct 1-2 TEEs per day; no CT backup required
  • Cerner EMR system with 4-hour remote orientation prior to start
  • Collaborative environment with physician colleagues, MA, PCT, Nurse, and PA support staff

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Arizona state license (time available to obtain if not currently active)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of interventional cardiology experience
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
  • Recent case logs demonstrating consistent procedural experience
