Job Opportunity - Interventional Cardiologist - Arizona
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Verde Valley, Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with possible weekend rotation. Weekly rotation between hospital and clinic settings. 30-minute unpaid lunch. Overtime available after scheduled shift.
Highlights:
- Ongoing full-time position with a leading Cardiovascular Institute serving a primarily senior patient population (age 60+)
- Perform 4-5 interventional procedures daily including STEMI and cardiology consults, plus 3-4 hospital consults
- Clinic volume of 18-24 patients per day; hospital consults range from 8-14 daily
- Conduct 1-2 TEEs per day; no CT backup required
- Cerner EMR system with 4-hour remote orientation prior to start
- Collaborative environment with physician colleagues, MA, PCT, Nurse, and PA support staff
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Arizona state license (time available to obtain if not currently active)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of interventional cardiology experience
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Recent case logs demonstrating consistent procedural experience
