Job Opportunity - Interventional Cardiologist - Arizona
Start Date: September 14
Location: Verde Valley Region, Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch; possible weekend rotation; rotating weekly schedule between hospital and clinic settings
Highlights:
- Ongoing full-time opportunity providing comprehensive interventional cardiology coverage including STEMI and cardiology consultations
- Balanced clinical mix: 4-5 procedures daily, 8-14 hospital consults per day, 18-24 clinic patients daily, and 1-2 TEEs per day
- Work within a Cardiovascular Institute serving a primarily 60+ patient population
- Collaborative environment with physician colleagues, medical assistants, PCTs, nurses, and PA support
- Cerner EMR system with 4-hour remote orientation provided prior to start
- 30-day credentialing timeframe with virtual interview process
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain (licensing support available)
- ACLS and BLS certifications current
- Minimum 2 years of interventional cardiology experience
- Recent case logs demonstrating consistent practice within the last 12 months
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered on case-by-case basis)
