Job Opportunity - Physician, Cardiology - West Virginia

Start Date: ASAP - Emergency Credentialing Available

Location: Southern West Virginia

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; travel coverage provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 2-3 weeks of coverage per month. Clinic hours Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. When on hospital call, clinic hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, and Tuesday/Thursday full day. 24-hour call responsibility with minimal night-time calls. Patient volume: 22-24 patients per day (30 minutes for new patients, 15 minutes for established patients).

• Comprehensive cardiology practice including evaluation and management of new/established patients, cardiac risk assessment, and procedural supervision
• Procedures include EKGs, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and cardioversions
• Supportive team environment with dedicated techs and RNs
• Adult patient population (18+) with manageable daily volume
• Emergency privileging available for qualified candidates with clean background; IMLC accepted

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active or eligible for West Virginia state license (IMLC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation, TEE, and nuclear stress testing required
• Current DEA and CSR required
• Clean background required for expedited credentialing
