Job Opportunity - Gastroenterology Physician - West Virginia

Start Date: January 4, 2027

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available including 7 on/7 off rotation or consecutive two-week blocks. Primarily 8-hour day shifts with night call-back coverage. Some night coverage may be required, though most cases are held until morning when possible. Coverage needs span multiple locations.

• 6-month contract with flexible scheduling arrangements to accommodate your preferences
• Well-supported practice with 9 Advanced Practice Providers, multiple RNs, LPNs, and MAs across 3 GI clinic locations
• General GI hospitalist role focusing on adult patient population with average age of 58
• Two APPs trained in advanced GI perform preliminary patient evaluations before scheduling with physician
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Credentialing timeframe of 60+ days; IMLC candidates or those qualifying for West Virginia temporary license will be considered

Requirements:

• Board Certification required
• Active or eligible West Virginia state medical license (IMLC accepted or temporary license qualification)
• Current DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience level: open to various experience backgrounds
