Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider – PA/NP

Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: 10-hour shifts + call coverage
Assignment: Locum Tenens

Seeking an experienced PA or NP to support a busy Cardiothoracic Surgery program at a leading academic medical center in Sacramento.

Responsibilities:

• Surgical first assist
• Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
• Radial artery harvesting
• Pre- and postoperative patient management
• Inpatient rounding and call coverage

Credentials & Certifications:

• Active California PA or NP license
• PA: NCCPA certification
• NP: National board certification in applicable specialty
• Active BLS certification
• Active ACLS certification
• DEA registration, if required for scope of practice
• Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery experience required
• EVH and radial artery harvesting experience required

Compensation: Compensation details are confirmed with the Ero recruiter and vary by assignment, schedule, facility, and clinician experience.
