Job Opportunity - Pediatric Critical Care Physician - Arizona

Schedule: 24-hour on-call shifts with morning rounds; minimum 1 week per month coverage

Highlights:

• Manage 7-15 patients daily in a Pediatric ICU setting serving ages 0-18 years
• Daytime and evening support from onsite Nurse Practitioners
• Utilize Cerner EMR system with required coding proficiency
• Flexible ongoing contract with minimum one-week monthly commitment
• Comprehensive orientation includes remote Cerner training prior to start date
• Opportunity for cross-credentialing at multiple facilities within the healthcare system

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active Arizona medical license required; IMLC preferred or willing to obtain license
• DEA registration required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of PICU experience
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered on case-by-case basis)
• Recent case logs and vaccination records required for credentialing
